Florence Alabama

After leaving Florida, we spent last night north of Montgomery Alabama at a place called Peach Queen. The weather has turned cold quickly---we had to get the heater out! Today it was partly sunny and in the low sixtys while we drove to Decatur where R&N toured the Cook Natural History Musuem. They would have liked to spend more time there, but they were closing for lunch. It is one of the best natural history museums around-----lots of stuffed animals, bugs and rocks.

Next we drove on to Florence where we found a lovely city park. It is right on the Tennesee River. I get to watch barges go by and keep an eye on the two poodles next door. R&N toured a Frank Lloyd Wright house this afternoon and checked out the Wilson Dam, which is part of the Tennesee Valley Authority.

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
