Wednesday

So far our time here at Wickham has been pretty laid back. I’ve done a lot of napping and the humans have been doing a lot of reading.
Friday they met N’s cousin in Cocoa Beach and spent the day with them. They ate at the Blueberry Muffin and then went to a flea market and then out to eat at the Lobster Shanty in Cocoa. (They have the best rock shrimp there---they taste like lobster, at least that is what they tell me, the greedy humans didn’t bring me any!). It was a little strange on Friday---N. got a phone call from the campground when they were at the Blueberry Muffin eating breakfast. They had to move the camper. When they checked in they were told that they were to stay in the first campsite 2 nights and then move to another one. I guess they were told wrong, because they had to move the new site. So we quickly packed up and moved to the other side of the campground. Our new site is nice and lots more to see. I guess that campers have to move around a lot---they call it “The Wickham Shuffle” we don’t qualify to be a member of the shuffle club yet---you have to move at least three times to get into the club.
Sunday R. went skeet shooting at a club in Vero Beach (N. pulled for him) and then they went to the beach. They spent the evening with a really great couple they met from British Columbia.
Yesterday the humans went to the Bevard Zoo. They said it was really neat. You follow a board walk throughout the zoo. There are lots of birds and animals including a river otter and seven giraffes. There is a free flight avery (That is the part I would have liked!) I’ve put some pictures in the slide show—just click on it to see them all.

Today they went to the beach and fried themselves again. (Why do they do that? There are plenty of sunny spots in the camper!)

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
