More January

It was warm last week and the humans got to the beach one day,  The day they were there the waves were almost non-existent.  Sure different from most times. It has cooled off this week.  That doesn't seem to stop the activities.  Yesterday there was a chili cook-off and cards afterwards and then today Nancy sewed with a group of the women in the morning.  Again this year they are making dresses out of pillowcases to send along with missionaries.  Last year they made almost 300.  I wonder what the the count will be this year.

Last week there was a great horned owl behind the trailer.  That is sure one bird I wouldn't want to chase!

I finally found a use for the Vermont Teddy Bear Nancy brings along each trip---it was perfect to stand on so I could check out the invasive species that is in my home.  (Nancy says it is a pitcher plant and that it eats insects - if it doesn't warm up soon so she can put it outside, I'm going to eat it!)

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
