Avon Park to Ocala to St. Augustine

Pool at Bonnet Lake Campground
Ocklawaha River
Well, after three days of visiting with Nancy's cousins, swimming in the pool and visiting with friends from home Sebring, the humans packed me into the car and we were off to Ocala area.  We stayed in a park that we have been to before in Silver Springs and we got almost the same campsite we had the first time with the little trailer--#7 right on the main road and across from the pool.  Lots of people walking by for me to see.  Friday morning they went to the Markets of Marion---a huge flea market that is one of Nancy's favorites   Saturday they drove around in the National Forest and picked up a pizza and ate it at a park along the Ocklawaha River.  There are lots of horse farms in the area, too. Glad I wasn't along for the ride---I think horses are scary!

Yesterday we  packed up again and took a short drive to St. Augustine.  I guess we didn't have reservations anywhere, but were able to get into Anastasia State Park for three days. After a bike ride around the park, they were off to explore the city and I was left to nap (and guard the trailer from the squirrel that lives in the tree beside the window).

Oops---I thought there were horses in this picture!

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
