Naples to Sebring

Seen neat Lake Placid
After spending a couple more days in Naples, we packed up again and now we are in Sebring at Buttonwood Bay. I think this our 5th time here. We stop to visit some friends for a couple days.  I hear that this year we are staying two weeks! Before we left Naples the humans went shopping in downtown Naples.  First at an area called Tin City near the waterfront then later in 5th Avenue South.  I guess the shopping was good, but what really interested me were the pictures of the pelicans at the dock at Tin City begging for fish at a fishing boat that had  just come in.  They look like big, fat, slow birds that I would love to catch.  I'm not sure how big they are from the pictures, but how big could they be----they are birds, aren't they?

In different cities we have visited, there have been various animals recreated in fiberglass and decorated/painted by local artists.  Toledo has frogs, Ocala horses.  We saw pigs in Cincinnati, a flag striped moose in the UP and Naples has alligators!
What do you say about an alligator wearing a chef's hat?

It has been cold since we got here.  So I have used the time to catch up on my naps.  The humans got in the pool once, they have gone out to eat with their friends that live here all winter and Nancy has played bingo.  Tonight they went to a show ---Re Creation.  I heard it was a good singing group.  I stayed home and waited for them to return and give me treats.

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
