Cortez to Naples

Naples Pier
Our next two nights were spent in Cortez.  Again is wasn't very far from where we stayed the night before.  We stayed at a place called Buttonwood Inlet.  We were parked under a beautiful tree filled with birds (yum---if I could just get one to come in the camper) and a squirrel.  The park itself is really pretty and neat, but we were parked by road in the only unpaved sites.  We were assigned a site that was really too short.  Ron got the trailer in ok, but there wasn't any place to put the truck!  This place was just before the bridge to Anna Maria Island, so the humans spent the day checking out the island and eating seafood.  (of course, they didn't bring me any!---bummer).

Day before yesterday we traveled to Naples and are now at Naples RV.  Nice place, but in order to get cable, you have to go to Comcast and pick up a (free) converter. (too many trees for the dish)  So I got left and they went in search of the cable box.  That turned into a day of sight seeing.  They drove along the beach-or at least that is what the claimed-  all I could see in the pictures was lots of condos and big houses.  They discovered a classic car show in downtown Naples.  It was at the Depot Museum, so they got to see the cars and tour the museum.  After that they came home and spent the afternoon at the pool.

A strange thing happened last night.  Nancy thought she heard a cat barfing and she got up to see if I was ok.  I was fine and confused why she would wake me up from a perfectly good nap.  This morning Ron went outside to find a "surprise" on our door mat.  Apparently the resident park cat was responsible for the hairball deposit.  Wonder what that means?  Coincidence or was she sending me a message?

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
