Carrabelle Florida

Sunset over the bay
The past two days have really gone by fast here in Carrabelle Florida. I hung out at the camper while the humans explored with Rod and Connie.  Yesterday Rod cooked breakfast for everyone and then they drove around the area.  They drove around Tate's Hell and then, after Ron got the camper and the car washed, Connie cooked supper and they spent New Year's eve together.  After toasting the new year with champagne, R&N came home to keep me company (and give me treats).

Tate's Hell
Today Rod took R&N to see Alligator Point, Bald Point State Park and the Crooked River Lighthouse.  Beautiful scenic areas.  After pizza for dinner on St. George Island, they reluctantly said their good-byes and headed back here.  The Carrabelle area is part of the "Forgotten Coast", an area of Florida rich in wild-life and scenic areas with a rich history and the feel of a seaport form the turn of the century.  I have lots of pictures to sort out and share.  I'm having a little trouble to get them to upload, so some will have to wait until another day to finish them up.

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
