Sebring Florida

Wow, I guess I’d better get off my furry bottom and catch you up on our travels.
We stayed at E.G. Simmons near Ruskin Florida for three nights.  It was really cool so I spent most of my day under the blanket on the bed or lying in a sunbeam.  The humans weren’t as smart---they went outside.  One day they went to the power plant at Apollo Beach and looked at the manatees.  They had come into the canal to hang out in the warm water discharged from the plant.  After that they (the humans that is), went to a big outlet mall in Ellenton and our to eat at Annies Crab Shack, one of Harry’s favorite places.  They didn’t bring home any left-overs…darn!  We left for Sebring on Thursday morning, but Harry and Bobbi stayed behind in Ruskin.
We are staying at Buttonwood Bay in Sebring for a week.  We have been here twice before, but this time we have a different site.  This place is really big (990 sites).  It is a combination of travel trailers, fifth wheels , class As and single wide park model trailers on one side and double wide homes on the other.  We are here visiting our friends from home.  They are on the double wide side.  There are two pools and lots of activities going on all the time.  Nancy played bingo Wednesday when we got here and learned to play bunco Thursday night.  Today she and her friend took a bus to a casino and played bingo again.  She was pretty happy when she came home---she won $63.75 on the penny slots!
Today Ron found a place to shoot sporting clays and then they both went to the pool when he got home.  I discovered that I can sit on top of my litter box and look out the outside door-----just one more angle to watch for birds!

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
