It has been a busy few days for the humans! Wednesday they took a long bike ride around the park. There were remote control sail boats racing on the big lake and they got to see a couple of the heats. They also got. a tour of the new senior center and a billiards lesson while they were there! In the afternoon a bunch of musicians in the campground and played together---fun to watch! They went out to a Greek restaurant for supper. It rained on Wednesday night and the cold weather came back again (darn!). Thursday went for a long ride all the way down to Vero Beach to McKee Gardens. On the way they ate at a neat place (Captain’s Hiriams resort) along the Indian River and then toured the gardens. Looking at the pictures they took of the gardens, I’m glad I didn’t go alone---there were some strange animals there! They took the long way home through Sebastian Inlet and we all ate left-over Greek food for supper. Friday was flea market day---first out for breakfast then a walk around the market---they even brought me a new wind spinner to look at! Saturday was cold and rainy, but that didn’t stop the cabin fever infected humans. First a tour of Lagoon House at Palm Bay (history of the Indian River area) and then on to the Grant Seafood festival. It was amazing how many people came out in the rain to eat fish! They didn’t bring me any, but they had fish kabobs, shrimp, deviled crab and key lime pie! They got back home in late afternoon and at least we all got to take a nap together.

- I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
