We had a lovely drive along Lake Michigan to Manistee. On the way we checked out Saugatuck. Wow, there a lot of tourists! Also we saw lots of pretty houses and the waterfront was really neat. I don't mind looking at the water from the safety of truck.
We got to Manistee late in the afternoon and decided to stay at the Little River Casino Campground. Looks like we will be here two nights. The campground is nice and clean and there are lots of things for me to watch---we have a little white west highland terrier on one side of us and a large black something (looks like a dachshund, black lab mix ----how is that possible?) on the other. Between the indoor pool and hot tub, the casino and all the neat things in the area, I doubt I will see much of my humans over the next couple days.
