Monday

Melbourne

Guess they aren't using this beach!
Wow, we've been here in Melbourne for over a week!  Time sure does fly.  We started out with hot weather and now we are back to a little cool, probably more seasonable.  Humans went to their favorite beach on Monday only to find that it was being “revitalized”.   So they went to Indialantic Beach instead.  Luckily, the workmen were done and they were able to use their favorite by the end of the week.
I've had to be on my guard all week—so far, under our canopy we have had: one large (4’ long and about 3” thick) black snake, two sand hill cranes, the squirrel, and a raccoon!  Ron saw an armadillo not too far away, but he didn't make it under the canopy (yet).

Caught him going through stuff on the picnic table
Not too much to tell—things really slow down once we get here.  The humans go to the beach, I sleep, the humans go to the beach, I sleep…..I think you get the idea.  Tuesday they went to coffee here at the park and then Nancy sewed with some other ladies.  In the evening they went to CiCis with some of their friends.  Tomorrow, instead of coffee there is going to be a whole breakfast served (by the campers).  Last year Ron cooked pancakes at one of the breakfasts.  He isn't helping with this month’s breakfast—maybe next month.

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
