Home Again

Driving through New York
Needless to say, we made it home.  It seems that I always end up posting the last entry for our trips a while after we get home.  I guess it takes me a while to do a through house check and catch up on my naps.  I have been busy tracking down lady bugs.  I think I have found and disposed of all if them for now....so I can catch you up on the end of our trip.  I figured I'd better get this done, before we take off again.  I heard the humans talking about making me a vet appointment.  That usually means that we are going to go someplace warm.

Orange County Copper was really neat.  A lot of the motorcycles were lined up along the windows, so I could see a lot of them.  Besides the motorcycles and OCC gear, there is a restaurant and a four lane bowling alley in the building!

We had to end the vacation with another unusual event.  On the last night before we got home, we heard some commotion outside of the trailer and we thought we were getting new neighbors. (doors slamming...diesel motors)  Then it dawned on us that there weren't any more empty campsites beside us.  We opened the shade to discover a big fire.  The camping cabin (a single wide park model) was on fire. It was no more that 150 yards from us.  Luckily there were plenty of fire trucks and it was put out quickly.  The closest motor home was pretty much melted and the cabin was a total loss, but no one was hurt.

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
