Terre Haute Indiana

Last boat ride of the season
We are on the road again.  Docks are out and most of the boats, too.  Every one has had one final ride.  The big blue heron that came to fish off the dock doesn't come around anymore so I have a lot less guarding to do (by the way, I was successful again this year---he didn't come in the house once!)

Today we traveled to Terre Haute Indiana.  We had a little trouble with the new hitch, but after a few adjustments, things were ok.  I'm sure glad Ron was the one that had to stand in the rain and fix it and I could just watch from the window.  By the time we got to our destination, the weather had cleared up and the temps had warmed up.  On the way we stopped at the Fun Finder factory in Howe Indiana to pick up a new door lock.  It was just easier to go to the factory and get the part.  We told the dealership about the broken door lock in August and they still hadn't gotten to part in for us!  No problem at the factory--they just handed us a new one.  Ron installed it after we got to the KOA in Terre Haute.

This KOA is really nice---they gave me kitty treats!!! ( and cookies for the humans).  Nancy tried to hide them from me, but I found them.....

Tomorrow we are off to St. Louis Missouri

About Me

My photo
I am a Swantonian Bushcat. (I was born under a bush in Swanton Ohio),but my people think that I have a lot of Chartreaux in my bloodline because I pray for what I want, am very quiet, lay on my back a lot, and am shaped much like a potato on toothpicks.
